Publix Super Markets Charities has come through again with another $6,000 grant to Central Florida Bible Camp.
In their letter of April 22, 2010, Carol Barnett, President of the charity, said, "...on behalf of Publix Super Markets Charities, it is my pleasure to enclose our donation in the amount of $6,000 in support of your general operations. Publix Super Markets Charities, formerly the George W. Jenkins Foundation, was established by the founder of Publix, my father, George Jenkins, to improve life in our communities. We believe your organization exemplifies that mission and we are pleased to play a part in your efforts."
This brings the total to $85,000 that Publix Super Markets Charities has contributed to Central Florida Bible Camp since 1997. Their generous support over the years has helped CFBC to sustain and improve our operations and the programs we offer.
To Publix Super Markets Charities we say, "Thank you so much for your generosity."
To all CFBC supporters we say, "Patronize Publix Super Markets and visit their website for great meal ideas and money-saving coupons. Publix certainly is 'Where Shopping Is a Pleasure.'"
