The West Broward church of Christ has graciously consented to be the host site for a Family Fun Night & Benefit Dinner on Saturday, May 22. The event is being sponsored by the Griffin Road church of Christ.
Activities begin at 4:00 p.m. and include dinner, basketball, ultimate frisbee, box ball, dodge ball, relay races, board games, corn toss and volleyball. Ron Brackett, Director of Central Florida Bible Camp, will also make a report on what's happening at the camp. The evening will conclude at 8:00 p.m.
There is no charge for dinner, however, donations are encouraged and will be solicited. The purpose of the benefit dinner is to raise funds for the general operations of the camp. Summer camp fees provide only about 40% of annual operating costs, while the remaining 60% comes from church and individual donations, private rentals, grants, and other fund-raising events.
