For you long-time Camp supporters, you will remember the days when our campus was located out in the boondocks. Driving to camp required many miles on backwoods roads with few signs of civilization along the way. If you did not make the trip often, every time was an adventure, wondering if you were on the right path or not.
Not so anymore! Now our 100-acre campus is surrounded by neighbors, subdivisions and small businesses. Whether this is good or bad, we'll let you decide, but it has led to at least one concern that needs to be addressed. Over time we fear our property lines have been "blurred" and, if not corrected, may result in some of our neighbors inadvertently encroaching onto our land or us onto theirs.
Are you a land surveyor who would be willing to help us re-establish our property lines? If not, do you know one that will? We have found some landmarks, but need a surveyor to ensure they are correct and properly indentified. Once the markers are set, we will begin a long-range project of fencing our property along its northern and eastern boundaries.
We have some local men who are willing to help with the job, if needed. Some are experienced and some are just willing. You can use them or not as you see fit.
